The Gallery Is Open
Olliebel is officially open: a working gallery of art by the very young, hung at toddler pace and taken entirely seriously. Mind the crayons.

Some galleries open with champagne. Ours opened with a crayon underfoot and a small ceremony involving a banana. Welcome to Olliebel.
This is a gallery of the very young. Every work here was made by an artist who is, at time of writing, two years old — an artist who cannot write her name, tie her shoes, or be persuaded to wear matching socks, but who can fill a page with more honest line than most of us manage in a year.
Here is how the house works. New pieces are hung as they are completed, usually before breakfast. When a work finds its wall elsewhere, it earns a red dot and is recorded as collected — our visitors don't buy art, they acquire it. And every piece is catalogued: a title, a date, an age. Because the artist changes daily, and the record matters.
One day, this gallery passes to its artist. Until then, we hang the work.
Start with The Opening Exhibition, visit The Fridge Gallery for a masterpiece of your own, and check back often. The walls change as fast as she does.
