The Fridge Is a Gallery Too

Every home already has a gallery — it hums, it's cold, and its curator is a magnet. How to hang a masterpiece properly, Olliebel style.

Before there were galleries, there were fridges.

The fridge is the first place a young artist's work is ever hung, and it is hung the way all important work is hung: at eye level (a toddler's), in the best light in the house (the kitchen at breakfast), held by the oldest technology in curation — the magnet.

We take the fridge seriously here. That is why Olliebel publishes a proper gallery frame: print it, tape it around the latest work, and fill in the wall label — title, artist, age, catalog number. A drawing with a label is no longer fridge clutter. It is a hanging.

Download the frame and visit The Fridge Gallery to hang yours.

And when a piece outgrows even the fridge — when it deserves a wall that isn't also holding the milk — that is what the Custom Studio is for. But it starts here. It always starts here.
